Quinn Direct to create 250 jobs in Kells.

The Insurance company Quinn Direct are delighted to have opened its new office in Kells Enterprise Centre. 

This office offers tremendous career opportunities to the local eceonomy when at full capacity for up to 250 staff.

The office has a front counter facility where customers can go in, receive a quote, pay their premium and obtain their documents thus going on cover immediately.

The opening hours of the front counter in Kells are:

                   Monday to Friday  9.00 am to 5.30 pm

                          Saturday        9.00 am to 5.30 pm

Quinn Direct to create 250 jobs in Kells.

The Insurance company Quinn Direct will open shortly for business in Kells Enterprise Centre. 

This will serve as a temporary office during the construction of its premises in Navan.

Quinn Direct is looking to recruit people in functions such as Sales, Finance, Customer Service and Administration.  There will also be opportunities for people who are fluent in continental European languages.

Meath County Council in Partnership with Dundalk Institute of Technology and National University of Ireland Maynooth will launch the Meath Initiative for Lifelong Learning (MILL) project on Tuesday 8th May

Meath County Council in partnership with the National University of Ireland - Maynooth and Dundalk Institute of Technology have launched an innovative project in progressing the demand for third level course offerings within the county. The MILL project offers a selection of business studies courses on a pilot basis to assist workers in gaining a qualification from a third level provider. The courses have been selected to enable companies in Meath to build management and technical strengths within their organisation. The local availability of these courses in Navan, on a part time flexible basis is intended as assistance to both employers and employees. Classes are timetabled in the evening to facilitate individuals working and studying.

Meath County Enterprise Board in conjunction with NUIM also offer a Certificate in Small Business Development for Female Entrepreneurs.

 Meath Education & Training Database

The launch will also take place of the new Meath Education and Training Database, a website that includes a searchable listing of course offerings throughout Meath. A large range of both interest and education courses are currently offered within the county. The development of this website facility will make it easier for individuals to locate information on local opportunities. Guidelines are also included on choosing the right course, useful links and understanding terminology.
