Meath Investment Showcase a tremendous success

The Meath Investment Showcase held in the IFSC on March 8th 2006 provided a successful showcase of all that Meath has to offer to potential business investors
Meath County Council's Investment Showcase was held in the chq building on Dublin's Custom House Quay on March 8th 2006.
Over 400 delegates attended the day-long Showcase, drawn from Dublin's business community, property sector and government agencies.
The event consisted of both a Showcase and a Business Seminar.
The Showcase consisted of almost 40 stands representing office and industrial developments in the County, Meath County Council information stands and a range of academic institutions and local agencies active in promoting economic investment in Meath.
The Business Seminar consisted of three Briefing Sessions, Breakfast, Lunch and Evening, which were addressed by a range of speakers from Ireland's political, business and economic sectors.
Highlights of the day included the launch of the new Science and Technology campus at Carton Estate by NUI Maynoooth, a presentation by the Financial Controller of NEC Semifconductors in Ballivor on the opportunities presented by that company and the Economic Development experieinces of the Town of Cary in North Carolina, USA
